In this incredibly chaotic segment, I strain off the nettles, bucket the beer, add sugar and eventually yeast.
As you will find out later this was I think way too much yeast - the sachet was for brewing a bucketful of real beer that size and I had about two inches of nettle beer in the bottom!
This caused us some explosive and exciting moments later on, so if you’re following along I’m going to recommend using A LOT LESS YEAST!
As ever this is all hit and miss, it’s taken me weeks to figure out how to transfer the video over. I hope you’re all going to give it a go!
